Hello together,

we try to connect a S7-CPU (416-5 H PN/DP) with an TDC (CP50M1) via Profibus. We installed a simple configuration of both systems with one Profibus cable.

The S7 is the master system. At the HW-Config I configured a "DP master system". Then I connected a CP50M1 (PROFIBUS-DP --> WEITERE FELDGERÄTE --> ANTRIEBE --> SIMADYN --> SIMATIC TDC CP50M1) with the according Profibus address.

But the connection will not be established. In online mode it says, the hardware is different and not ok.

Is there anyone who had already this configuration (communication between S7 and TDC) and can help us? Is this communication in principle possible?

I don´t really know much about TDC.

"HW is different" sounds that there is something wrong the the projected GSD-file.
