I cannot download my program to PLC. When I ping PLC its ok, but i cannot establish communication in TIA. I'm using TIA Portal v13 sp1 and PLC S7-1500 (6ES7 513-1AL01-0AB0). In TIA Portal max version for PLC is 1.8 but on physical PLC is 2.1 version. Is there any way to update version on TIA Portal and do i  need to have same versions? Regards.

You need TIA v14 SP1, then you have support for Firmware v2.1. TIA v15 supports Firmware v2.5 ->.

You can still use the CPU and download the program to the CPU, even tough it's complaining about it. You just can't use the new functions that come with the new Firmware.

The line below the one you marked says hardware configuration error. This seems to indicate the cause of the error.
