fish Posts: 47 Rating: (0)	Dear All I have a power and a CPU and a CP342-5(6ES7 342-5DA02 0XE0). Before download HW. The led of CP342-5. The RUN led is always on. The BUSF led is flashing. Afterdownload HW. The led of CP342-5. The RUN led is always on. The BUSF led is always on. Which can reasons lead to the fact that these abnormal situations take place have?

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear fish, I admit I have no idea what you may configured but it could be the following. If you set up the CP being a DP Slave you may have the situation that at the beginning, as the BF flashes, the CP is set to a known DP Slave address for a DP Master. So the Master tries to configure the DP Slave but fails. After the HW config got downloaded the PROFIBUS Address is set to an Address the DP Master does not know... so it does not try to configure the Slave and the Slave shows that it is not polled, the BF is constantly on. These are just guesses... but I think I might be close. Best regards J_Bell
