dynamic braking resistor for DC drive.

Mehta Posts: 80 Rating: (7)	Dear All, I am planing to incorporate dynamic braking resistor for 6RA7081-6DV62-0, 400A drive. Motor detail : 54kw, 1100 rpm, Va=400v, Ia=152A, Vf=310v, If=2.5A. Motor is installed on flying shear. The purpose to use braking resister is secondary protection from regeneration(avoid over travel) while dc drive in fault or in inhibit condition. Does anybody having idea for selection of braking resistor and its logic? thanks in advance. Rgds Ashish
