I know by using migration software I can upgrade WinCC from WinCC v6.0 up tp WinCC v7.0. But I have WinCC v7.0 Package software in my hand not migration software. 1. Could I directly installed WinCC7.0 without removing WinCC6.0 from control panel program. 2. Remove WinCC6.0 from control panel program & then install WinCC7.0 3. formatting & then install WinCC7.0. Which option is correct.

I doubt that without formating SQL 2000 is not removed. because I have faced problem before. which progamm I should be removed of WinCC6.0, so that no problem to installed WinCC7.0.

But also with removing one by one using Add/Remove tool in Windows should do the trick. Remove the WinCC then the SQL 2000... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
