S7-1200 and servo controlled "flying saw" problems

A.Strand Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Flying saw controlled by a servomotor and s7-1200 CPU 1212. We are using the block MOVE VELOCITY to move the axle to the cutting point. That works fine each time and it cuts very exactly. After the cut we sends the axis towards home position with the block HOME in mode 3, distance 0.0. That also works fine at the beginnig the servo finds the reference sensor and does the homing according to the axis configurations. Unfortunately after ex. 70-250 cuttings "cycles" the axis home position moves away from the reference sensor although it performes the block HOME. After the homing is done we sends CLR signal to servodriver. It seems like it could bee some kinde of memory value that is increases and have a affects on the homing procedur ??? How does the homing block work in mode 3 and position 0.0 with reference sensor???? Thanks!!!

I would probablymake a debug of application, becaus if it works for 70 times and then goes wrong, the problem might be in your code.Put in monitor instance DB ofHoming procedure and see if there is some error during it, or maybe some other positioning task aborts homming procedure or you add offset to homing position, like you don't reset execute bit of homing and you apply new position before ending homing procedure, or ........

I am interested because I have some project with this task. I know for easymotion solution by Controltechniques (I worked with it). I ask because I want to use S7 1200 for control automation task all machine which flying shear is part. Thanks
