HelloAndyNeva,

I am not sure that SIEMENS make dxf data base for all S7 1200 PLC series or not.

In any case, did you tried using CAx shopping cart?

Download area for CAx datatypes
Generate your own CAx data types for your individual shopping cart here. Select the necessary help for your process from the Siemens CAx data types to be able to use it in your CAD or CAE-system with minimal time and effort.

How do you proceed?
Open the shopping cart viaCAx-Onlinefor further export steps
If necessary, add other product numbers to the shopping cart.
Select the export format for the product master data and/or choose complementary CAx data types which you want to export additionally.
Complete your selection options (e.g. language variants) for the data export.
Start exporting.
After having started the export, the selected CAx data types will soon be available for download.

BR Andrey We had to create our ownentries from the dxf file, and manually add to the plc database. It would really speed up integration of the S7-1200 products if the PLC database data were available for AutoCAD Electrical for download!

EPLAN is better and you have all of the information Best regards I think it all depends on how you wish to generate schematics. EPLAN is not used nearly so much in my area. AutoCAD Electrical is used quite extensively. It is unfortunate that Siemens does not spend a few minutes generating PLC components which integrate directly into AutoCAD Electrical, though I can completely understand that perspective. AB does it and they are very prevalent in our area among AutoCAD Electrical users.
