P0010 value cannot be changed

mayank_254 Posts: 20 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I am facing one problem with MM440, i cannot change the value of P0010 in the drive. it is consistently showing value 2 (For service purpose only). i have even tried to factory reset the drive but it is also not possible. What can be the reason as i am new to this drive i cannot figure what could be the reason behind this. Please help, its a bit urgent.

If there is any other way or some other parameters that needs to be changed, please suggest me for that. I have tried other things as well but all in vain. Also the factory reset cannot be done as P0010 cannot be changed to its value for factory reset.

Graeme Platinum Expert Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 11/25/2025 Posts: 1521 Rating: (327)	Hi, We have had a similar experience when a customer (who "Could not remember what he had done") returned a drive to Siemens that was stuck in P10=1 (Quick Commissioning) We had tried everything, P3=3, P4=0, P3900=0. We tried service level 4, but it would not allow us access due to the state of P10. We also attempted to download the Power Stack data again, but this failed. After informing the German helpdesk, and as this was only a Frame Size A drive, they suggested recycling My question to you is . . . When did this happen, were you changing Inverter (P10=2) values at the time? If we can try and identify when this happens, maybe we could work out why. Regards, Graeme

And tell now we still searching for a solution. And also I should thank "Mr. Expert Graeme" who shared info from German help desk.thank you Graeme. Graeme ................. After informing the German helpdesk, and as this was only a Frame Size A drive, they suggested recycling ......... I am fully agree with German help desk sugesstion to recycle the drive. As its size is FSA and it may consume a long time to solve the problem. Prices of FSA inverters are normally cheap. But what if the drive is a large scale one and faced the same problem. For this sake I do recommend to keep this thread open till found a solution for this problem. With best regards.
