write the state of a flag to the VM memory

russ1669 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi All, Iunderstand how toread from the VM memory using the Network input block, and setting the address for the part of VM memory you want to read, but am having problems writing data to the VM memory. Is it possible to write the state of a flag to the VM memory? What other blocks are allowed to be written to the VM memory? Any help would be appreciated. Russ

russ1669 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I've answered my own question after some searching on the Siemens website. I have attached the Siemens instructions that cover it... There is no need to write the flag state to VM memory on the server, as the client can read the state of the flags on the server directly. It can also read the input and output state.
