In Tia Portal V13, I selected a CPU1214 and any expantion card. Now I want send BOM to my customer. Best format for me is XLS (MS Exccel)

Using TIA Selection tool will help you to make your configuration again in a new project in this tool

Then you can export your configuration as Excel sheet containing the part number, the quantity and the description of each used item

TIA Portal is an engineering tool to start engineering phase. you should end the selection phase first by using TIA Selection tool as mentioned before. You can find TIA Configurator to download in the links sent before or in CA01 Interactive Catalog if you installed it on your PC. 

You can then export your selected configuration in excel format or for Hardware configuration file.

I understand that I must first create new project in SelectionTool. For phase two and start programming, I must create new project in TIA portal.

So can I export HW configuration from "SelectionTool" to "TIA portal V13"? Or is there no relationship in these softwares?

Til now the answer is no you can't. 

But Development team told that they are working on this issue and when finish, we'll be able to export the configuration in TIA selection tool to HW config of Step7 TIA.
