Gogy Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	Hello. This is my problem. I have two ARRAYS, one is called INPUT, and the other is called WEIGHTS. Array INPUT has 50 elements, and WEIGHTS has 10 elements. This Variables are saved in my Data Block. With this two variables I need to calculate the output of neural network. Output of this network can be calculated with this code : for ( i=0 , i<50 , i++ ); { for ( j=0 , j<10 , j++ ): { SUM = SUM + INPUT [i] * WEIGHT [j] ; Y = 2/ (1 + EXP(-2 * SUM) ) -1 ; } } I know how to do this step by step in Step 7, (using STL or FBD). And it would be ok, if there is only one input, but with 50 input elements, it is too much job to do. I never tried to do anything that has conections with FOR loop in STEP 7. Can you give me some advice how to relize this in step 7 ?? My knowlege about step 7 and PLC is average. Thank you, Goran.

Gogy Next question is. If I have this array INPUTS, and it is saved in DB1, and it has 50 elements. Can I modify this FOR loop, so that, elements are taken one by one from that array INPUTS in DB1 ??? Yes it is exactly done as you expect.Like writing loops in C or C++.You can consider FC1 as a standard written program, change input and weight parameters in DB1 and DB2 and see the result in Y which is defined in symbol table. hdhosseini

In my project Arrays INPUT and WEIGHTS, are in same Data Block (DB1). i see, in this symbol table, that is the problem?? 2.) If I, need to take another two arrays, for example , IWEIGHTS and OUTPUT , do I need to make New Data blocks for this two arrayd (DB3 and DB4) ?? Thank you.
