Profibus Connection S71500 and S7300

baat Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, I want to connect a S7 1516-3 PN/DP with a S7 319F-3 PN/DP via Profibus. I used the Interface in the CPU. As far as I know I can use 1500 as Master and 300 as iSlave. This ist the first time i want to realize a Profibus connection. What I have already done is: I projected both the S/ 1500 and 300 in TIA Portal. Gave both a PB-Adress like 2 and 3 Connected in "Networks" (purple connection) Defined the Input and Outputs in the Slave. In the Master CPU it isn't possible (Maybe not necessary?) On the Hardwareside both are connected and the resistor is in"off"-position at Master(1500) and "on"-position at Slave(300) I wanted to send a Message from Master to the Slave with "DPWR_DAT" (Error:8090) For my 300 which works as Slave I couldnt use DPWR_DAT there for I defined variables according to my "Transfer Field" and wrote a HEX-Data in it. But there is no communication. I can only see the Error 8090. I lokked for this Error at the Table, but I cant understand the Description. In Laddr I put my Transfer Field1 which is a Master Output defined as Word. So what did I forget? What I also dont understand is howthe Master knows the Transfer fields, because they are only defined in the Slave- Thank You!

baat Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Thank You Wizard, The is no Option I can define the Transfer Area in the Master(S7 1500). I can use the 300 as Master or Slave. When I click on teh radio Button for using the 300 as Master I also can't define the Transfer Area. But I am using the 300 as iSlave and can define teh transfer area. Of cource I can define the Output and Inputs for the Master, bus it is in the Settings of the slave. There is a screenshot attached- You can see the Transfer Areas defined in S7-300 not in S7-1500. Go to properties -> (at the bottom) overview of addresses Please have a look in diagnostic buffer, to see reason of error. Best regards, Wizard

baat Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Ok There are no I/O Ports . Is that a matter of Hardware or hot can I put some there. May PLC should be able to be a Master. The Diagnosis says that there is a error in a subordinate Device. Thats the translation. My UI is in german. Attachment properties.JPG (676 Downloads)

baat Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	I have to apologize. The table is not empty... I was tryinf a S7 connection and it was an other file. There are the same Adresses as defined in 300. But it is the same Error-Diagnosis as mentioned before. Attachment Address.JPG (654 Downloads)
