you can either change the library back to version 3.0 or you have to create a so called "Technology Object" for your readers/communication modules.

The technology object has been implemented due to misunderstandings of addressing with the old HW_CONNECT var. Addressing by TO is much easier.

To create a RFID technology object do the following:

1. Set up your hardware at the hardware configuration at TIA Portal
2. Create a new TO (<PLC_1> > Technology objects > Add a new object)
3. Follow the instructions of the TO wizard (You need to select your RFID device you've set up in hardware configuration).
4. After TO generation has been finished you can call the ident blocks.
5. For HW_CONNECT you now need to used the generated TO-DBs located at "Technology objects" in the project tree.
6. Besides addressing the handling of the blocks remains the same at it was before.
