Display a S5 format timer on WinCC Flexible (####)

Rosegarden Posts: 63 Rating: (0)	Hello people, I have a question about displaying a S5 formatted timer on a tag ona OP77B. The timer is in a DB as S5T format. On the panel it's a label with DEC properties. When I startthe panel in RT there are apearing alot of zero's (000).eg. aS5T2M timeris displayed as 120000 onthe OP77B. thenI shorten thevariables van 6(xxxxxx) to 3 (xxx)the panel shows ###. Anybody have a tip ?

Normally in newest versions of Flexible S5TIME format is automatically converted. Now you see value in ms and its correct. You need to make scaling of a tag. Normally what you have is when you deal with TIME format, but not with S5TIME.

By dividing it by 1000 you'll get time in seconds. Kind regards, BV I'm sorry I was wrong about S5TIME in Flexible. It accepts S5TIME and converts to TIMER automatically, so its miliseconds, but you don't need to divide anything. Just go to tag properties and select 'Linear scaling'. Then in PLC tab put 1000 where you see upper value and in HMI tab put 1 as upper value. And then you will see time in second in your I/O field.

Just go to tag properties and select 'Linear scaling'. Then in PLC tab put 1000 where you see upper value and in HMI tab put 1 as upper value. And then you will see time in second in your I/O field. I meant the same. I just used 'divide' to express that the scaling needs to display the tag 1000 times smaller, not bigger. Kind regards, BV

Kind regards, BV I Have Tried That Scaling and it didn't work also and i cant find S5Time in Formats in WINCC at format although i found it in Data Type
