Problem with configuration of slave IM153-2 / 153-2BA02-0XB0 / in COM PROFIBUS v3.3 software on S5 - IM308C PB network

Georgio Posts: 245 Rating: (14)	Hello. I have a problem with configuration of slave IM153-2 / 153-2BA02-0XB0 / in COM PROFIBUS v3.3 software on S5 - IM308C PB network. In COM PROFIBUS software I open existing project and select new ET200M slave station. There is not corresponding IM. After that I download GSE file from Simatic Support site, extract to GSD directory in COM PROFIBUS software and then try open GSD for IM153-2 -> an error occurred. Question is, how should I implement new IM153-2 slave station in COM PROFIBUS software or could you tell me the right way how to do that. Thank you for your answer. Gest regards Jiri

Maybe you should upgrade your COM Profibus to latest version 5.1 Kind regards, BV

Maximum number of modules is 11. Keep in mind that the first slots are reserved, so a maximum of 8 16DI modules can be entered in a IM153-2 station Kind regards, BV
