OP396 Programming question

S.Markovic Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear experts, I have an old OP396 panel and i want to use it with SIMATIC S5-100U PLC but there is a problem with programming op396. I dont know how to start, does WINCC support this model? any suggestion or help, manual etc would be very useful. Also, i have COM396 software without manual with programming example... Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

S.Markovic Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello sps-concept, I have started STEP5 software, and successfully launched COM396 package software. There is a lot of functions in it. There is screenshot in attachment. Problem #2... I understand how PLC and OP396 communicate (via 15-pin SUB D cable and flags field access), but now I need more informations about programming OP396. (Filling eprom with my data). Can I fill eprom (in OP396) with 6ES5 734-1BD20 cable + adapter? (That cable is used for progamming S5-100U).
