nghia12 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi please help me to solve this problem. i had MMI belt weigh: 3 MSI, RBSS, BW500.installation good. alignment within 0.8mm, 3 affter and 3 before 3 MSI scale. design rate: 200t/h design speed: 1.35m/s speed ( bw500) : 1,33 - 1,37. belt length: 365,1m Calibration duration: 1 zero erro: 0.05% span erro: 0.08% in Run mode when belt run empty about 30 min bw500 totalizer before run: 0kg bw500 totalizer after run: 80kg. i see something deffirent: belt revolution time (actual): 266 second (T1) total time zero: I measured 260 second (T2) total time span: I measured 260 second Why time T1<>T2 ??? speed measured wrong??

SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hi, Check if p619 is set to 3%, and if possible, try a higher value. About the second question, i would not bother too much about this. What if you set the calibration duration by 3 or 5 revolutions? Will the difference still be 6 seconds, or will it be multiplied by 3 or 5? Best regards, SonicRanger

P619=0 set p619=7, run belt empty totalizer OK, but with small load <7% design load totalizer not increment. if set p360=3 result the same T1<>T2( 6s). i have a question now belt length=365,1, if set p016= (6*1.35) + 365.1=373,2, erverything OK???? sorry, My english is poor

SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hi nghia12, I do not have experience with the factoring function in the BW500, and I do not think it will help you. A normal procedure would be to perform an initial zero and routine zero (which you already did), and perform an initial span with the given design load on the nameplate. Next step is to perform a material test, and enter the %-deviation between BW500 value and the reference weight in P019 . See the BW500 manual for the procedure. Best Regards, SonicRanger.

SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hi nghia12, I also believe it's right now. But I always entered the material test deviation in P019, P017 is then automatically adjusted. I never used the factoring parameter. But 1,6% deviation of your first material test sounds pretty good. If you want to know your actual accuracy, you could perform more material tests and enter the average deviation in P019. With a perfect mounted MMI with 2 MSI scales, 0,25% should be possible but this depends on many factors. I have no experience with 3 MSI's in a row, but it's obvious that this should add extra value to the accuracy. Regards, SonicRanger.

Misaligned idlers will result in unwanted forces beingapplied on each idler in the weighing area, causing calibration and measurement errors.

Levelheaded Regular Member Joined: 6/13/2013 Last visit: 4/2/2025 Posts: 24 Rating: (2)	Hello nghia12 I'm not sure if you are still concerned, but it seemed as though your original question was about the duration of the calibration time. PAR 360 value. You measured a time and compared it to what the BW500 was doing and found a small deviation of 6 seconds. This is likely an error induced by the belt speed entry/correction. belt speed can be entered with up to 6 characters and as you will see can "jump" around a lot while reading the speed on the display. I think for this length of time it would be better to use 2 or 3 revolutions rather than 1, in PAR 360. That should help even out the difference in time recordings and minimize the affect on your high accuracy scale.
