Adam24 Posts: 13 Rating: (2)	Hello everyone, I have a problem here with PG/PC interface: In the Add/Remove interface field the "Select" button is inactive. I would like to install new interfaces like PPI to communicate with S7-200 PLCs, but haven't find a solution to my problem yet. See attachment. Here is my complete configuration of my Field PG: SIMATIC FIELD PG M4 PREMIUM PLUS, CORE I7-3520M (4M CACHE, 2,9GHZ, UP TO 3.6 GHZ WITH TURBO-BOOST-TECHNOLOGY), DVD RW OPTICAL DRIVE, HD-GRAPHIC 4000; SOLID STATE DRIVE SATA 300 GB; W/O S5-INTERFACE, W/O S5-EPROMMER; 15,6'' DISPLAY, FULL HD (1920 X 1080); KEYBOARD QWERTY (& GERMAN), POWER CABLE FOR: GER, FR,NL,SP,BEL,AT,SWD,FIN; WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE SP1, 64-BIT (EN/GE/FR/SP/IT), 1X 8GB RAM; NOTE: STEP 5 AND STEP 7-MICRO/WIN NOT PREINSTALLED. STEP 5 INCOMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7; LICENSE FOR STEP7 PROF COMBO (V12/2010), WINCC ADVANCED COMBO (V12/WINCC FLEXIBLE 2008), STEP7 MICRO/WIN V4.0; WITH MPI CABLE; VERSION OF SOFTWARE V12.0.1.0 I didn't installed anything else to the PG just the Micro/WIN software (V4.0.9.25; SP9), so that's why I don't understand the situation. The OS is Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, 64 BIT. I also don't think this problem is because of the Micro/WIN, I just would like to mention why I wanted to use it. If someone have had a problem like this, please respond.

During install did you install the drivers for the usb cable, if yes that may be the problem, your PG has already all interfaces onboard. Regards, Marcjan

Adam24 Posts: 13 Rating: (2)	Well, I don't understand why the installation of the Micro/WIN driveres make the "Select" button inactive in the PG/PC interface. I will try to uninstall Micro/WIN, but don't you think, I should be able to Add/Remove interfaceses, no matter what kind of drivers are installed? I will write back if anything changed. Adam24 Posts: 13 Rating: (2)	Hi everyone! I tried a lot of things, but nothing changed. The only solution for me was to get contact with Siemens and they asked a lot of information about my configurations and I also had to send them screenshots and system logs so they could write a .bat file, which adds the MicroWin configuration to PG/PC interface. If I reinstall my complete system, I have to run this .bat file everytime to have that MicroWin config in PG/PC. But still I can not use the select button because it is inactive, so I can not add interfaces to PG/PC. I think they don't know what is the problem with it, but I also do not care because the MicroWin is working for me at least. (I think Tamás you are hungarian, if you write me a private message I can send you a contact to Siemens Hungary, they solved my issue in 1 day.)

They asked me about my configurations and setups and logs for my windows and simatic, and then they send this file. I don't know is it specific or not, or will this work for you also.
