PILearner Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	Temperature Transmitter ( combined with sensor): Stem Length: 10" Dia: 8 mm Sensor Type: RTD Pt 100 Transmitter Mounting: Head Type Hart Protocol Signal: 4-20 mA DC LOOP powered 24 V DC With Local Display and all mounting accessories Connection: 1/2" with cable gland I think the one that fits the bill is the SIEMENS SITRANS TF . But the problem is the stem length. THE TFis the only one that comes with a display in the temperature transmitter series. Now How Do I get to attach a long stem of 8 inch with this. ALso tell me that whether a TF is a completet transmitter or do I have to order a RTD sensor seperately with it?

A possible solution for your application will be SITRANS TS500.Example:7MC7511-1CA12-1HA1-Z G20+T30+Y01 {Y01: 0 ... 100 C}The standard diameter will be 9mm. the process connection will be G1/2”. Alternatives are available.Please contact your local sales for a possible quotation.

PILearner Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	Dear Mr. Celsius, I have consulted the catalogue and I ahve found that the code that you sent me is not listed there. The product code for TS 500 in the catalogue is 7MC751-1 not 7MC7511. also if I ignore this the next number after i.e 1CA12 also does not match the catalogues codes. Also the product that you have suggested to me doesn't come with a display. I need a LOCAL DISPLAY ALONG WITH IT? and the connection should be 1/2" with cable gland. The product that you suggested is without a process connection? it says N=U . what does that mean. Thanyou for your time and patience regards

All details can be found on page 2/132 in our catalog. 7MC7511-1CA12-1HA1-Z G20+T30+Y01 {Y01: 0 ... 100 C}The device comes with a display in the connection head. Process connection for this solution will be G1/2”. Alternatives can be found on the following pages.If the display should be beside the sensor as a field display you can select a different head (without display) and order 7NG3130 additionally (only field display – transmitter T30 must be inside the TS500). It will not be possible to connect a sensor directly to SITRANS TF. Ordering Option G20 you will receive ½” NPT thread without gland for the connection head.The version you have found is on page 2 /124ff. N=U because there is no process connection. For this version you can select a compression fitting using Option A31 or A32 on page 2/127

PILearner Posts: 80 Rating: (1)	Dear Mr. Celsius, I have completely read the TS 500 on page No. 2/132. The product that have selected for me has got a TH 300 universal Hart transmitter. Now the transmitter doesn't come a display. If you could point out the place in the product code that tells me that this device has got a local display, I would be very thankful to you. Along with this will you please explain the purpose behind the selection of Extension X: X= 129 mm ....(5.08")] . The term Y01: Transmitter options Y01: 0.....100 C I want to know as to what the Y01 option do? Does it limit the the range of the transmitter to only 100 C. and whether we can increse it in the field or not? Kindly Do tell me about the LOCAL Display, if it has Ithen I won't have to order SITRANS TF otherwise I will have to buy SITRANS TF? Thanyou for time and Patience FOr Ever Grateful Regards

H will be the following connection head: Aluminium Head AH0 suitable for Ex d, display. Selection V will be same in stainless steel.The Extension X: X= 129 mm comes with the following advantages: 1. The process heat will have no effect to the connection head or the transmitter. 2. The connection head can be adjusted (turned) after the installation7MC7511-1CA12-0* will be the same device without extension.Option Y01: Transmitter options Y01: 0.....100 C will be mandatory if a transmitter has been selected. It defines the start (4mA) and end (20mA) of the range. You can define it freely within the limits of the device and the PT100. The upper limit for 7MC7511-1CA12-1HA1-Z G20+T30+Y01 will be 400°C. For higher ranges you will have to choose a different PT100. Example: 7MC7511-1CA12-1HC1-Z G20+T30+Y01 {Y01: -196 ... 600 C}
