Problem with 840D startup

Luciano13 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have started having a problem with my 840D. The thing is that when I turn the machine on, the control constantly fails to connect to NC and lights in my operating keyboard (the one that includes the start cycle button) remain flashin even after I log on to windows. After waiting for some times I get the message: WARNING: Application 'mmc0' didn't post InitComplete ! Press <enter> and continue... But if I press enter nothing happens and my machine does not work. After rebooting several times we manage to succeed in turning it on, but we loose quite a lot of time in the meanwhile. Does anybody know how to solve this? Thanks. Luciano

Instead I have three files (.GH1, .GH3, .GH4) and do not know how to restore those files in a blank disk. This solution would be extremely useful, because I'm having trouble with windows networking as well. If you or anyone could show me how to make a restore from this three files I would be more than gratefull. Regards. Luciano

I believe that if I connect a blank disk, the PCU50 won't even boot. Is there any way to restore this images to a blank disk? Regards. Luciano.

Hello Deep, Just for your information....with help of tool box cd you can have the informations regarding the PLCs tool box and the NCVAR -GSD files details only.. Hello, Best way is to format the HDD in to 4-partitionsafter that you need to have eboot.gho if you have eboot.gho....you can get the service center screen but please ensure your eboot.gho is written in stick properly....look in to this steps.ensure your using it correctly ======================================================================= How to create an Eboot stick: Execute the tool Ghost32.exe (located eboot.gho file in your laptop) Use the Ghost function " Local -> Disk -> from Image " to transfer the image Eboot.gho to the USB stick. After completion of the Ghost function please use the WinXP function "Safely remove hardware" to disconnect the USB stick from the PC before removing it. After successful completion of this procedure you will have a bootable PCU service system on the USB stick. =============================================================== ^{After thisopen ghost32.exe you need to load your .GH1,GH3,GH4 individually Check it out...
