Data block Posts: 81 Rating: (1)	Hello World, I have 2 synchronous servomotor 1FK71015AF711DG0, and they are in a machine who the temperature is gettings very hot. There is a possibility to have from Siemens a system for a forced cooling, without i need to change the servo motors? There is any module that i can build in my servomotor? If i need to change the servomotor what model is the same like the 1FK71015AF711DG0 (with forced cooling)? Thanks

Maybe you can change the loadcycle => smoother ac-/decelaration => reduces the torque => decreases the temp. The type 1FT7 you could get with fan or water cooling. But the motor itself is special designed for high requirements and so the motor is more expensive than 1FK7. For 1FK7 is no fan available for after mounting. But the customer could mount a fan themself. The fan should blows in the motor's direction. Through that you can reach a higher torque of up to 30%.

What is the reported temperature from the motor via programming software that is measured with the KTY84-130 temperature sensor? Is motor mounted to a gearbox? Especially if motor is mounted to a gearbox operating at relatively high rpm (i.e. near rated speed for the 1FK7 motor) then the gearbox may both add heat to the motor and restrict motor cooling.
