communication problem with wincc v7.2 and plc

CP_S7 Experienced Member Joined: 12/1/2012 Last visit: 1/13/2026 Posts: 135 Rating: (4)	I try to communicate wincc v7.2 and plc .but communication not establish. .same thing I try with laptop and it communicate. ..but with desktop pc.not .I check all thing system parameter, ip address, pg pc interface..so what is missing? ??

For more help provide snapshots of: Ethernet communication processor in PLC Channel Driver selected and its properties in Tag Management-WINCC Diagnostics of the channel drivers in WINCC that shows no connection Also, do have online access to the PLC from PG?It can be case of wrong parameter assigment!

If all settings are ok then check Ethernet card setting. Is CPU is pinging with PLC. ? Is Send-Receive Packs are proper in staus of Ethernet.

Which Kind of ? Are you using AS/OS compiler for downloading the project ?? If you use TCP/IP hen on tag mangement right click on tcp /ip.. in properties select logical device (ethernet Card ). For example if you have two cards specify the right one ? Give us more details about PLC and wincc configuration to give some more ideas and suggestion.
