380500 Profibus-DP alarm

eren_88 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts, I have a problem on 840di & Yaskawa Siemens swiss lathe machine. The alarm is 380500 Profibus-DP: fault on drive SP12, code 132 value 128, time 50. This is a live tool axis and it has a encoder problem. But, I want to disable this axis. I changed the MD 30130 Ctrlout_type--> 0 and MD 30240 enc_type --> 0, alarm goes on but, the other axes gives alarm as 25202 waiting for drive. Could you give any advice to how can i disable this axis.

Spindle encoder location i.e. whether it is installed on motor or installed/coupledto main spindle shaft? 2. How lathe can run bypassing main spindle application? 3. Can you attache photograph of alarm number 25202?
