VMWARE 3.0 and STEP7 , ONLINE PROBLEMS

sbartoc Bronze Member Joined: 3/3/2014 Last visit: 9/23/2025 Posts: 240 Rating: (10)	Good morning everybody, I have Installed VMWARE Player 3.0 into a PC and in the virtual machine I have installed Step7 V5.5. From another pc I connect to the first one using TeamViewer. Now the problem: I am not able to go "online" with STEP7. Which settings should I put in the VMWARE configuration, I mean, in the network configuration? Bridge, NAT or what?THE IP in the virtual machine is STATIC and is the one that I usually use when I connect me to the PLC, with my pc without Teamviewer. So, someone has some experience? THank you in advance

No Name Posts: 220 Rating: (11)	Bridge is that the VM use the same IP like your computer... My VM are all with Bridge configurated and normally I've no problems to connect with a CPU.
