The variable is an array, containing elements addressed with the line index:

The maximum alarm list index can be read via variable $$/N/S/numAlarms in module S.

maximum line index:16

The variable textIndex is stored in the area N (NC data) in the data module SALA (Alarm list, oldest alarm).

There are no more info to the DOConCD.
the Variable "text index" is available in several areas (SALA, SALAP, SALAC ..)
the list is sorted by time or there Prio in the fields.

when read with NCVar you have to play little bit with the parameters.
