Look at post ofWard2543: Ward2543 I have installed a number of 6RA70 drives as field exciters for DC generators and DC motors, on electrically powered draglines. To prevent nuisance F030 faults, it was necessary to change U580 so that the fault would be triggered by only maximum current actual value. Under dynamic conditions, the "sufficient voltage time area for commutation" and "curvature of the current crest curve" would cause occasional tripping. He change p51580=0100 May be this is your case also? If you are not sure consult with somebody who have a lot of experience in drive.
