How to communicate between S7-1500 and S7-400

yuwa Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Hello, I have situation that machine come with S7-1500 installed. We want to setup communication this machine to PCS7, which has CPU410. I try to setup s7-connection on TCP/IPand use PUT/GET function block. But it's not worked. Does someone have any experience in this matter? Thanks a lot Yuwanee

	"Expert" does not necessarily mean Siemens employee. Please cross-check your requirements always with official Siemens documentation. Also "Experts" are pleased about feedback. What slot did you configure for the partner ? Hello mark1507, thanks. - S7 connection is created both side. (s7-1500 as active) - partner connection resource is 10hex. (S7-1500 not allowed to set 03) - at cpu 410 side rack0,slot3 while s7-1500 rack 0,slot1 For software programming, first I try on S7410 side. After not success, I change to program on S7-1500. I have problem about which FB I should use, because it my first time create S7connection over Profinet.

Before we have look to the blocks we should have a look to the connection (in net pro). What about the connection status? Does the connection has the status "etsablished"?
