Profibus Mitsubishi with IM151

sma_1000 Regular Member Joined: 2/12/2013 Last visit: 11/15/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello I want to test communication over Profibus between FX3U-16M PLC with FX3U-64DP-M profibus master with IM151-1AA05-0AB0 as slave with 4DI and 4DO My question - IM151 can recognise connected module or I must download configuration to this slave ? - what is default profibus speed for IM151 how to prepare profibus cable on profibus master plug cable should be terminated or not and on position input or output ? From Mitsubishi side is software GX-Configuration DP where i can prepare configuration for master.

Termination of profibus is always on first and last node on bus. Maybe these links can be helpful for setting up IM151.
