I have a CPU 1510SP F-1 PN with various safe and non-safe local io.  Everything compiles correctly and downloads.  With the PLC in stop all modules have a green check.  However when the PLC is switched to run all io modules switch to "input/output data not available" and return no data to the plc.

If I perform a CPU memory reset they go back to a green check.

The help states "No input or output data are available, because the (sub)module has blocked its input or output channels." but does not offer any suggestions why.

I am stumped.  I have modified the hardware config to force a recompile, wiped the PLC and memory card and then downloaded a new config.  My next step is to just start from scratch, but I already have all my safety io configured.

Maybe the configured card types are not matching with real cards in the slots.

After struggling with this for a few days, I did finally resolve this issue at the end of the day, a few hours after my post.

I took a screen shot of the io layout list, deleted all the io modules but left the CPU.  I then reinserted the io modules, set the addressing, set the safety parameters and downloaded.  I had to change some of the io safety addresses online as they changed during the rebuild.

Everything works just as it should.

One other thing I did is delete the X1.P1 and P2 bus adapter as I am not using one and have those ports disabled.  The only option in the hardware library was to insert the CPU with a bus adapter.  However, I went back to my old project, tried only deleting the bus adapter and it had no effect.

Just something corrupted I guess.

i just got the same error in my configuration, but I managed to find the solution as well. 

My problem was that I did not used the correct base for the et200sp island. 

When I changed the dark base to the light base (new potential group), the error was gone.

My problem was that I did not used the correct base for the et200sp island. 

When I changed the dark base to the light base (new potential group), the error was gone.
