I have commissioned five S7 1200 systems (PLC - 1214C, HMI - KP-300).

After two months of successful running, customer is telling PLC goes to STOP mode (three PLCs).

After restarting also the problem is same. Please suggest what may be the reasons ?

There are several issues that can be the cause. Three come to mind...
(1) Related to power supply to factory.
(2) Temperature / environmental.
(3) Program coding.. possibly saturation of a counter or related.

But these are only guessing. It will help much if you could store in a TXT file the text that can be read from the diagnostic buffer. This can be seen when you make a online connection with the PLC or newer PLC and HMIs models can make that available on the HMI or even the web server.

Please attach the diagnostic buffer for more than a guess.

PLC goes to STOP due to several reasons

1.Power failure of I/O module.

2.Field short circuit

3. I/O module failure

etc

Please go to online access and check the diagnostic buffer and online module status.

Are the PLC’s running the same program? Then a programming fault is most likely if they are not sharing the same power supply or using the same sensors/actuators.

Just check your diagnostic buffer and you will see why your CPU’s go in stop.

If they stay in stop after restarting than the fault could still be there, or the startup mode need to be changed to “Warm restart – RUN” instead of the factory default “Warm Restart – Mode before power off” (see Device configuration – Properties - Startup)

You could enable the web browser so your costumer could easily see the diagnostic buffer by opening his web browser.  He is also able to bring the PLC back in RUN when the default startup is selected.

Also for the KP300 just like William B says you can add a Diagnostic view, so more or less the diagnostics status of the PLC is than viewed in your KP300.

I have the same problemm like RUBU.The plc goes in the STOP mode aftere a time of running.I proceeded the WARM RESTART procedure but after a time the same things it's hapening.I've attached the fault list wich i've downloaded from the PLC.

Can someoane help me.

go to CPU properties->Startup and set in Startup after POWER ON: Warm restart - RUN. Recompile, download this change to PLC. Everytime PLC will go tu RUN after POWER ON.

There were a series of I/O access errors and hardware removed errors all within the same second.

It then went into stop mode.

Three minutes later the it lost power (or someone restarted it by recycling power)

Then ten minutes later there's a  Sensor or load voltage missing . And memory card errors. (or may be not ??)

It looks like what started it was the I/O access errors:

I have a similar problem but only one of my PLC's has gone to STOP mode and even when I connect with the TIA PORTAL and try to run it from the program, it wouldn't change or even when I upload a new program it won't change the STOP mode. I'm attaching the diagnostics so maybe someone can help me.
