Dear Experts,

Have a problem with machine controlled by 840D (MMC100). Problem is after power-on "2001 Plc Not Start-Up" alarm occurred. When alarm occurred "green led on" and status "6" both on PLC and NCK. 

Whereupon reset the PLC via S4 switch and have tried reload the PLC files. The file transfer operation has stop after load %78 of file (192420 of 247000). Have to reset the PLC and tried reload the file again and again. Despite attempts many times but, unfortunately file transfer has stop approximately on same point.  

Does anybody know what can i do?

You must put the S4 key at position "2" -> STOP before load the file....

The PLC must be in STOP State before load datas...

Thanks for interest and assistance. I have tried switched "S4" to "2" position but, unfortunately can not finish load file completely. Does problem coming from NCK unit? What do you think?

have you tried to load a different archive? see if this loads you may have a corrupt backup, also you could try and load the archive in via step7 if you have a step 7 archive.

thanks a lot for assist. No didn't tried load different archive. If you mean (step7 archive=system files), yes i have NCK and PLC files. By the way, do not know how can load the archive files via step7.

I've encountered to the same problem.

Following SIEMENS Diagnostics manual, where the error's described, I tried to find out what process could suspend or delay OB1 execution resulting in delay of the PLC sign-of-life signal.

Unfortunately, I could not find any explanations about code execution debugging in real time. 

I would appreciate any tips about that.

What finally resolved the problem is correction of MD10120 PLC_RUNNINGUP_TIMEOUT.

The error disappeared after restart and machine was back to work. That means that there is no severe HW or SW problem and the PLC cycle is being finished.

However, the question still not answered is what causes the PLC cycle time to expand????

Any propositions would be appreciated.
