similar problem:

i discorverd that my WinCC profession has been uninstalled from my PG. when ever i try to install a new one i keep getting  the message "restart you machine". i have done this several times and can't get passed it. 

any help?

First, please use the Wincc setup tool to remove the present wincc.

because it will ask you remove - upgrade - modify.

If you remove your wincc from add/remove programs you should stop all working Siemens programs from task manger of the windows then stop all Siemens start up programs.

After that the uninstall should be worked with you.
