When I try to Create a new project or open a existing project in WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3, i get an error and unable to do anything.

The screenshot is attached for your reference. I have checked with the forum entry as given in the popup window but it does not solve my proble.

Additional Info:

OS : Windows 7 64 bit Professional.

TIA Portal V13 SP1 installed in the laptop works.

Hello,

try to start WinCC flexible with the option "Run as Administrator".
then check if the error occurs again.

Hi,

have you already installed the latest Updates for WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3?
I mean that there is HF5 the most actual Update for WinCC 2008 SP3.

Dear  All,

I tried so many possibilities. Finally I settled for Oracle VM VirtualBox. I made a Windows XP SP3 installation in the virtual machine. Installed S7 V5.5 SP3, Starter and WinCC Flexible 2008 in the VM and just the S7 in Windows 7. Now I am able to go online with all S7 PLCs, Sinumerik CNCs, Sinamics Drives, Simatic HMIs with both A2 Adaptor and the Ethernet Cable.

I had the same error but with WinCC Flexible 2008 SP5 with Step 5.6 and MS SQL Server 2014 on Windows 10 64bit. I tried solved online

But don't works. Then I can solved the next mode:

 I have installed: 

MS SQL SERVER 2014

STEP7  v5.6

WinCC Flexible 2008 SP5

Fisrt Step:

    I Closed all aplicaction of MS SQL Service 2014, WinCC Flexible, STEP 7 v5.6

Next:

     Stop all service of MS SQL Server 2014 on Task Manager

     Stop all service of WinCC Flexible 2008 SP5 on Task Manager

     don´t close "Automation Simatic Management"

Second Step: 

      Delete/erase "WINCCFLEX2010" folder.

     Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
     %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Data\WINCCFLEX2010

Third Step: 

     Run Step7 v5.6 and open project WinCC Flexible 2008 SP5 and ready!

    It works.
