My CB-1241 has hardware identifier 269

I have a big problem with CB-1241. I can't open port with hardware identifier 269 (as it is shown in properties of CB-1241) - I am getting ERROR output and status 16#7000

When I enter different port value - 271 - the modbus _comm_load finishing successfuly with DONE output.  Ok, but when I run modbus_master - it is always BUSY

Moreover :  Led indicators on CB 1241 stays always off, but suddenly - Rx starts to blink !!! (but I don't send any commands at that moment!!! This is real mistery)

My system is tia portal v13 SP1

modbus_comm_load V3.0

modbus_Master V2.2

The problem was solved after installing last update 2 for SP1 ! 

Now it is possible to choose version of modbus_comm_load. Version v2.1 - works fine. Version v3.0 doesn't work with CB 1241

I encourage you to share a little more information.. maybe fary312 will be so kind as to see if he sees a configuration issue. Pictures are very welcome.

Also make 100% sure you do have the version installed - some had issues (other updates) that the software did not fully update as it should.

Having the same problem.

Always status 7000 when using modbus functionblock version 3.0
When i try to select version 2.1 i see no functionblocks. the folder Modbus is empty. so that doesn't work!

I think you have to check the FW version of the CPU and Card:

• CB 1241 RS485 (article number: 6ES7241-1CH30-1XB0) in conjunction with a firmware update of the S7-1200 CPU to >= V4.1.1.
