Siwarex U 2 unavailable to tare / zeroing 1 ch

zapp2es Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a Siwarex U 2 7MH49502AA01 . I have develop a program using sfc 58/ 59 following basic old program example Call the sfc for each channel when other ch1 sfc is not busy The problem is that i can not tare, zeroing the ch1 for any strange reason Could be this issue related to the eeprom limit? Or it is because I have to wait 5 second for zeroing Ch1 and ch2 Other experiences please let me know Thanks and Kind regards

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/16/2025 Posts: 1197 Rating: (179)	Hello zapp2es, for using the Siwarex U-2 7MH4950-2AA01, I recommend you to use the Getting Started project on the internet: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/28391777 Into this Getting Started project, you can find the function block FB45. Please use this FB45 for the communication between the PLC and the Siwarex U module. Anyway, if you store the zeroing into the EEPROM you have to wait 5 seconds for the next command. This behaviour do you also have with the FB45. Best regards Siwarexi
