Hallo!

I have problems with faceplates.

I made a faceplate with a circle and a text label inside.

And I added a faceplate property “state” DInt which has 3 options:

0 – off

1 – on

2 – error

I linked this property to faceplate animation “appearance”:

0 – white

1 – green

2 – red (blinking)

But when I start Runtime and change a tag connected to this property – nothing appears.

Have you ever faced such problems?

Can SP1 solve such problems?

You cannot animate the picture imported into screen...you can only make it visible invisible ..

so design it from TIA and configure the animation

But it's working in simulation mode.. it is so strange

I have similar issue the faceplate animation gives error saying faceplate Appearance tag missing, but tag is defined.

This issue is only in V13 , it didnt happened in V12.

im sorry i  have misunderstood your question..i have checked only with simulation it should work in runtime pls some one confirm this ...i dont have possibility check in online

It seems SP1 UPD3 for both TIA and WinCC Runtime has solved the problem!

Hello, I know it's solved within v13 SP1. But it seems this exact issue has come back in TIA Portal V14 Sp1....

.... I'll let you know if I found a solution/workaround.
