ofski Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a problem in my PLC S7-1200 V4.0 (6ES7 214 1BG40 0XB0) it is protected by a passsword. I can't remove it. the PLC is empty (no program) but when i try to load one, it show me the password required. i try to do reset factory but the plc should be in stop mode then when i try to stop it the password required message show. so can you help me to reset all plc (remove password and program)? thank you in advance

Robster Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 11/11/2025 Posts: 1344 Rating: (141)	YOu can try to plug in an empty memory card. Then power on, wait some time, power off and remove the card. Then all the data are on the card and the S7-1200 should be really empty and in default.
