i simplified my program as much as possible to make my problem understandable

in my program i have a certain value ''3' (md20) following the red arrow to this 3 belongs the default value of '4' (mw10) blue line.  and if md20 becomes a 1 de default value becomes 2, so 'values serie 1"  acts as an table and the table is read out with the field read function.

but in some circumstances of my project the default values of 'values serie 1'  need to be different. so i created an extra table 'values series 2" and ' values series 3' with its own default values 

but how can i manage it to let my program first choose a 'values series"  and than a 'sub value' i've tried many options but i didn't succeed

A very easy way to adress field array is using SCL.

You will find some examples here in the forum.

FieldRead and FieldWrite was the only option for older generations.
Now we have other options.. as seen in the picture.

As our senior member stated - SCL offers even more options.

i had to struggle but not it's working, you used "array[1..3, 0..4]" in your example.  but now if i use an array ''array[0..1, 0..4]"  and the firs index  0..1  i want to use this for a bool, m3.4.  if bir 3.4 is low i want to use the array 0 and if bit 3.4 is high i want to use the array1.  what is now the best/easiest way to achieve this.

and perhaps is it also possible that you give an example of scl

  #INDEX_1 : = 0;
ELSE
  #INDEX_1 := 1;
END_IF;

#VALUE := MyArray[#INDEX_1, #INDEX_2];

- OR -

IF NOT(M3.4) THEN
  #VALUE := MyArray[0, #INDEX_2];
ELSE
  #VALUE := MyArray[1, #INDEX_2];
END_IF;

You can use either method 1 (A and B)  or  method 2.

it took me some time and study but your explanation was very clear, thanks for that.  

you uses 2 times a move instruction in a network, hows that possible

and if you look at attachement, in my hmi screen it's possible to create layers, i was wondering how does it works
