when i was trying to connect my cpu s7 1200 with tia portal v11, the connection was successful. but when i m trying to download the program, it showa error "module plc_1 has an invalid firmware version". help me to download the program.

            If u want to update ur Firmware , Communicate with PLC go to online.

            In ur Project View Select the option in Online&diagnostics .

            Select Functions in that Firmware update option is there .

            Click and RUN Update for ur Firmware ....

 correct because this PLC Type can only be updated with the Memory Card,  not with TIA and not with Webserver.

Which version you have exactly on the PLC (look in Online and Diagnostics) and which FW Version you have projected.

The PLC is availabel with FW V1.0 up to FW V2.2.

If you have online and offline different versions then you run into this problem, in this case you should change the Version in the project to the the version which is on the PLC.
