The code marked in red does not follow the standard designation for a DB.

You write DBX8,DB___; this is not acceptable.

Try changing it to DB8.DB___.

The designator DBX_ is only used to point to a specific bit address inside a DB, as in DB8.DBX0.0.

manual DPWR_DAT Parameter RECORD Description

Note: Note that the RECORD parameter of

S7-300 CPUs always requires the full

specification of the DB parameters (for

example: P#DB13.DBX0.0 byte 100).

Omitting an explicit DB no. is not permitted

for S7-300 CPUs and causes an error

message in the user program.

See following copies from TIA-Help:

RET_VAL should be Datatype INT

For VARIANT-Datatype of the RECORD-Parameter;

If you use the prefix P#, you can only point to memory areas with "standard" access mode.

Have a look in your DB if it has the standard access mode
