I can't upload project HW from CPU315-2PN/DP by TIA13. When  I tried "upload device as new station"   TIA said: "The hardware configuration was created & downloaded with incompatible version of Step7"

With a simple uploading some Blocks are not open: "SCL blocks uploaded from an \s7-300/400 module can not be edited "

Step7 5.5 also can't upload these project, because project is created in TIA. 

TIA12 also can't upload project.

How I can take project these project? Copies of the project does not exist

Bad luck

First, try V13 SP1.

Then try V10 and / or V11 ...

This upload - Problem with TIA is still an awful disaster.

I needed to upload a program that was done 2 years ago using TIA portal V13 Sp1. The CPU is S7-1511 PN-1. with 7 AO modules and 1 DO module. I tried to upload it using TIA portal V13 but the error "the hardware configuration was created and downloaded with an incompatible version of step 7" appeared. Next I did was try to upload it using V14. It said that the program used to upload was V13.. So I made a new vmware and tried to upload it with TIA portal V13 only (no SP1). It failed to upload. I tried V12 and it said program used was v13... 

I am using V13 SP1 upd 9.. two years ago should be around upd 4 below. If i have different upd, will i be able to upload it? Does it matter if the program downloaded was programmed using TIA PORTAL V13 Basic and I am uploading it using TIA Portal Professional? 

I have been using siemens software for a while now and this is by far the hardest upload i have encountered. Really inconvenient.

Yes, the update - no. is no problem.

But perhaps you have a chance to test with Basic - Version?

BASIC is can only be used for the S7-1200. BASIC is able to access an S7-1200 even if it was programmed with PROFESSIONAL. But we are not talking about the S7-1200 here.
