OS Multi Client - Server Down

MicroMan Platinum Member Joined: 11/29/2011 Last visit: 2/4/2025 Posts: 1362 Rating: (233)	Hi, I have a funny fault in my system.. I am using OS MultiClients on PCS7 V7.1 environment. It was working fine but a couple of days ago I had an issue with one of my OS servers and since I can not use this server from the OS MultiClient. When I select my OS server on ServerView all buttons says Server Down(See the attachment). What I have tried so far: Reloaded the OS server, Reloaded the multiclient, regenerated the server data on OS server, Reassigned the server data to Multiclient. Any idea appreciated. schufri Gold Member Joined: 10/10/2014 Last visit: 12/8/2025 Posts: 1725 Rating: (211)	Hi MicroMan At first pleases check the issues from followed FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/868014 If all is OK pleas take check follow points: 1.On the engineering Station delete the server package 2.Close the WinCC Explorer 3.Delete from WinCC project directory al files with the name <Project>.dc.. 4.Generate the Serverpackage again 5.Load the hole server and client project on the server and Client computer Best regards schufri

Strange, but it worked. I think something not quite OK with the installation of that specific station. Thank you for the help!
