You have to insert a separator module, then you can use Failsafe and standard modules in a rack

I am having S7 400f/fh with IM where i have configuration like IM accompnied by Fail safe modules and lastly the standard AO module so after refering the above posts i understand that i will nopt require

In Old systems with old Fail safe modules, Safety Protector was necessary to achieve SIL3/Cat4.

But Now, It's clearly mentioned in the data sheet of ET-200M Fail Safe modules the following statement:

SIL3/Cat.4/PLe can be achieved without safety protector
