Hi,

I'm making a report in xls format, because I need to have a chart in the report. That all works well.

(in WinCC V13 advanced runtime)

Now I want to save the xls file as a pdf and there I'm a bit stuk. All I can find on the internet is this code: (which is also wat I get when recording a macro)

objWorkbook.ExportAsFixedFormat Type:=xlTypePDF, Filename:= _
    "filenam.pdf" _
    , Quality:=xlQualityStandard, IncludeDocProperties:=True, IgnorePrintAreas _
    :=False, OpenAfterPublish:=False

But in scripting, I have to know the values of these constants and I can't seem to find them.

I could also use a 'pdf printer', but then I have to specify the filename in a popup, which is not a good idea with an automated report function.

My last resort is storing a macro in the xls file, but that can give trouble with security issues.

Anybody who can help me with this one?

You can  use the PDF Creatorfor PDF Printer.

With this Program you can specify the filename and you can do a Autosafe function where you can set for example a Timestamp in the filename and so on

Then you get no Dialog for User Frontend.

I used this PDF Printer many times
