I am Quyet, I have problem with WinCC Project

I had installed TIA portal package software, but I can not open HMI Project (TP900 comfort Project)  which was created by other author

There is an appeared error when I open created project

"Project" can not be open because necessary products are missing

Before you can open "Project", other products need to be installed

Hi,

WinCC & Step 7 are separate packages in TIA portal. If you want only 1200 to be programmed you can go with Step 7 V13 Basic. If you want to programm other PLCs like 300/400/1500/IM CPUs/Open Controllers etc.. you will need Step 7 V13 Professional. (Maintaining V13 since it is the latest version available).

With both these softwares you will get a complimentary full fledged installation of WinCC V13 Basic. With this package you will be able to crete projects for Simatic Basic 1st Gen & Basic 2nd Gen HMIs.

In your case, the project backup contains a hardware that is not available for programming in the installed softwares you have. There is a lot to know about versions of softwares you can install under specific version of TIA portal. If you are interested we shall discuss that too.

Can I Open this Project if I will be install WinCC comfort V13.0/or WinCC Professional V13.0 and Upgrade this Version to WinCC comfort V13.0 SP1/or WinCC Professional V13.0 SP1
