i m trying to upload program from op17 with prosave, but it showes error "could not open the file" 

can any one help me.

pls be careful because you select Restore not Backup! This message looks like you must select file backup to restore Panel. Pls select for first Backup your panel.

then if you want restore change to op 17

then if you want restore change to op 17

I don't think so.

You can't put wrong device type and expect that the backup process will run.

You should put device type correctly in backup, restore or during OS update.

Dear a.saleem,

Are you sure that you are in transfer mode of OP17?

But ensure that you enter this mode without erase the memory of OP17.

To do so, you have to press ESC + UP during Startup of the OP.

 I see one people do it, and it's wwork. You cant know it's wwork or not if you dont try

it's only take some minute (1,2 minute) and dont loose any thing in panel (in backup mode not resstore, os update).

hmmm in that case user use some other version of ProSave, simply I can't simulate that message only on Restore Tab. Yes I see that options depended to backup ALL. Saleem pls, what version of Prosave you have? Maybe on older version then 13xxx is for first needed create File Name of backup, thenit can be initiated.

"Could not open the file" during backup comes because you have not named the file which will be used for backup. So give a name to it. Problem solved.

("Could not open the file" issue has not relation with cable, port or prosave version)
