How can synchronize the time of starter with PLC or system?

mohsen62 Posts: 82 Rating: (2)	Hello I want to change the time of starter software from work time to real time.I must to set the address in the "select message frame"page but it is not possible.How can i change it?which address must be set?and what should I do for this task? otherwise I need that the time of starter be synchronous with PLC or system. best regard mohsen bagheri

What do you mean with the "message frame" page? Doy oyu have a screen or online help for this? Normaly you set the PLC Time from you Windows System and synchronize this time to the SINAMICS, now the messages and Faults from the Sinamcis are displayed in UTC (+offset for the actual time). mohsen62 Posts: 82 Rating: (2)	hello actually, my problem is this,that how can change the time in starter software?because it's time is not synchron with PLC now. message frame is 1 page in starter software and is related to communication with PLC.other wise we can set the standard of communication between PLC & DRIVE on it. ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 22827 Rating: (3073)	Hi, 1.) STARTER have no Time setting! 2.) starter can never sync a PLC Time Which Time you mean? I think you mean the timestamps of Messages of the drive in the Alarm tab of Starter, right? This is no starter time, this is the drive time! If you don't synchronize the drive with the PLC Time starter display the working hour of the drive. Regards Christoph
