I had referred to the link that you had shared. But i am not able to do the backup as mentioned.

Can you please advise?

I am using a CPU1214 V2.2 (i have downloaded a program written using TIA V11).

And i m trying to do the online backup using the TIA V13 SP1 update 7.

Then appears a window saying that "Online backup is not supported".

Yes i did that but i am getting that error message window while/after clicking on the upload button (in window which appears after i click on the "backup from the online device".

 for a backup:

1.) Before this action you create an identical device configuration in the Project folder.

That is to say that after the version changes of TIA  the cpu's only with the fw version >=4.0 are capable of giving you upload of the program

 The only way to have the backup is to first see if the cpu supports the fw upgrade if possible then go for it and try to take upload
