In Sinumerik 840D While reloading PLC data it ends up with error.  In the log there is an error as follows:

@@_N_PLC_START NC/PLC Error 84020363

Please help to resolve.

Why you need to reload PLC back up? What problem you faced?

Have you cleared NC/PLC properly?

After clearing NC/PLC & power ON, what is value on 7 segment display & what is status of LED display?

How you are reloading PLC data?

Due to battery problem the program was lost.  The system was not booting.

The clearing / resetting of NC & PLC is done correctly as per procedure through suitably selecting S3 & S4.  Reloading is done via HMI.

The backup file nc.arc is loading with out any error.

PLC data is loaded with S4 switch in Position-2. plc.arc is loading with one error and  the description in error Log is "@@_N_PLC_START NC/PLC Error 84020363".  What does this mean and what could be the probable cause ?

Also the LEDs in the drives are blank (neither green nor red LED glows) after loading the nc.arc the red LEDs in the drives 611U go OFF but green does not come ON.  The drive ready Green LED should glow.

The 7-seg display shows the digit-6.  The LED pwrOK and PR solid Green.

But as soon as we try to start the machine, it goes to fault: PR- Off, PS and PF light up and remain in the same state evening power ON or hardware reset.

Please suggest.

Have you checked the access authorization i.e. key switch position?

Clear the NC PLC data. Then first reload PLC data & then NC data.

Do you have series back up data? Have you tried to reload it.

You mentioned many green or red , on, or off, I got lost what do you mean and cannot help you even I try to . sorry for my straight answer

Why do you want to first install plc? Normally nc to get the drives configurated and the plc to set up the dbs?

I would like to understand this
