Hi All,

      I am using ET 200iSP interface module [6ES7 152-1AA00-0AB0] with Digital input module  [6ES7 131-7RF00-0AB0]. When I am configuring DI module then DI module address occupying 3 Bytes e.g  0..2  in normal module only 1 byte is occupying. 

In system manual 1st byte is used for Input signal, 2nd byte used for Value status for Channel 0 to 7 and 3rd byte Unassigned.

From manual I understood that 1st byte is used for Input signal but I want know about 2nd byte in details . How 2nd byte analysis whether input is valid or not valid. I didn't find any details in manual.

For reference please find the attached DI module address assignment manual.

Please provide some information.

What exactly do you not understang?

Maybe a example helps:

IB 0 is your normally input-byte. Lets say I0.3 is true.

When IB1.3 is true, it says that I0.3(true) is valid. If IB1.3 is false, it means that I0.3 is invalid, you can not be sure if it is really true.
